Congratulations to Amy Burk, associate professor in Animal and Avian Sciences and leader of our equine program, for being elected as Chair of the Board for the National Association of Equine Affiliated Academics (NAEAA)! This national organization brings together leaders in academia all across the country to coordinate and advance equine programs and education across public and private institutions. As Chair, Dr. Burk has been recognized as a prominent thought leader in equine education and Extension, exemplifying our land grant mission.
